Landscape Lithophane

A lithophane is an etched or molded artwork in very thin translucent porcelain or plastic that can be seen clearly only when back lit with a light source. A lithophane presents a three-dimensional image – completely different from two-dimensional engravings. The images change characteristics depending on the light source behind them.

Sizes are the height of the lithophane from top to bottom and are based on images with a 6x4 ratio. Images not fitting that may be resized slightly, alternatively larger images may incur an additional charge.
